Overview
This is another excellent river trip for beginners, families with children or those with less time. There are enough rapids and jumps to make it an interesting and fun adventure. Be warned tho, this quiet little river becomes a white water giant at a certain time of the year. Please ask us. The best way to enjoy this short, one day paddle, is to combine it with a trip to Chitwan National Park or to Pokhara. Below is a one-day trip itinerary, but we can also arrange rafting on the Trishuli river for 2 or 3 days if you would like to experience overnight camping on the river!
Itinerary
We drive for around 3 hours from Kathmandu to the put-in point then experience some of the rapids which have become synonymous with rafting in Nepal – this being one of the earlier rivers to be commercially rafted. Names like “Twin Peak Rapid", "Ladies Delight", "Landslide", "Offset 1" and "Offset 2". There are plenty of chances for swimming or jumping from a high cliff (if that is your thing!) before we end the trip and you set off on your onward journey or return to Kathmandu.
