Sitting southeast of Island Peak, Mera Peak (6,470m) is another peak famous among climbers.  The Mera Peak Climbing starts after a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla.  We have our own warehouse at Khare, where we can outfit you with all the gear you will need for climbing and our local staff is very experienced in this area. After completing this climb there are several options open: return to Lukla to fly back to Kathmandu, or continue over the Ama Lapcha Pass to Chukung, the gateway for Island Peak Climbing, from where you can join the Everest Base Camp Trek or go on to Gokyo Valley.  Please ask us!
