Probably one of the best white water rivers in the world, this Class 4 river runs through Manaslu district, part of the Annapurna trekking area. Ideal for both rafting and kayaking, this river is quite technical and has Grade III and IV rapids. This is perhaps not a beginners river. Please ask us about the best option for you. Don’t forget – there are breathtaking views of the mountains!
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Beshsahar (or the trip can also start from Pokhara).
Day 02: Today we hike to through interesting villages. We overnight round the campfire after a briefing from the raft leader.
Day 03: Again after breakfast, we hike to Nagdi the starting point of our adventure! Most of the rapids today are Grade IV so straight away you are in a world of white water!
Day 04: Today is a rest day and your chance to try out kayaking if you like. Or simply relax on the beach and enjoy the peace and quiet of the river.
Day 05: Paddle through a high walled gorge to the endpoint at Bimal Nagar. Today the river is less turbulent and there is time to do a bit of bird spotting on the way. From the endpoint, drive back to Kathmandu or on to Pokhara.
