The Kingdom of Bhutan is a visually stunning Himalayan country sitting in the Eastern Himalayan region, is bordered by Tibet and India. The mountain peaks here are over 7,000m, yet the nation also has lush subtropical plains. The pristine countryside is home to fabulous wildlife including tiger, red panda, Himalayan black bear, leopard, gray wolf, elephants, to name some of the more iconic animals. The people are Buddhist, and their culture is fascinating. Sitting at 2,350m, Thimphu is the capital city although we fly into the main airport at Paro, 1.5 hours drive away from the capital. Flights for Paro leaves Kathmandu in the early morning, so the rest of the day is free to acclimatize and enjoy.

We can offer you short tours of 3 nights, to more extended visits of 7 nights. On these tours, some of the places you may visit include the Tiger’s Next – a monastery built into a cliff (yes, we will hike up to it), and Trashi Chhoe Dzong, the seat of the government. You can try your hand at the national game, archery, hike through rice fields, green valleys, and fascinating villages. The countryside is so stunning. Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive at the Paro Airport and drive to Thimphu(capital city of Bhutan) (2,320 m) 1-2 hours

Today we will fly to Paro airpot. When you are on the air, the scenic beauty of Himalaya, mountains will amaze you. If the weather favors, you can also view Mt Everest and other peaks. After arriving at Paro, we will drive to Thimpu and Check in to our hotel.

Day 2
Sightseeing of Thimpu

Today, we will go to Kuenselcholing viewpoint from where Thimphu is seen clearly. We can also go for the prayers to Buddha because there is the giant statue of Buddha in Thimpu. Similarly, memorial Chortens is the next attraction where the particular Chorten was made in the memory of 3rd King in 1974. The king was also popular as the father of modern Buddha. Likewise, 'Fortress of Glorious Region' Tashichho Dzong is another feature of this place which was built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1641. In that place, there is the throne of the king, King's office, Secretariat building, and the central body of the monk. Overnight at Thimphu.

Day 3
From Thimphu to Punakha

Early in the morning, we will drive to Punakha from Thimphu for the visit of second oldest of male and female river in Bhutan found by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. After that we will also Chime Lhakhang and stay overnight at Punakha

Day 4
From Punakha to Paro

Today we will move to Paro. First, we will drive back to Thimpu and hike to the Tibetan refugee village called Hontsho village. After that we will drive to Paro. Stay overnight.

Day 5
Sightseeing Paro

Early in the morning, after having breakfast, we will go for a sightseeing tour of Paro. There we will go for a hike to Taktshang Monastery, also called Tiger's nest. It is a remarkable thing in Bhutan, which is perched. The fire destroyed it in 1998 and rebuilt again. It is said that the Guru Rimpoche came to this site sitting in the back of Tigress. The trail during the hike is some gentle, steep to some stony. After that, we will visit the Farmhouse. Take rest, refresh, and stay overnight there.

Day 6
Final Departure

Earlier today we will eat our breakfast and head back to our destination from Paro Airport.
