The South Asian country, Bhutan is situated in the eastern Himalayas.

It is a landlocked country between China in the north, Sikkim of India, and the Chumbi Valley of Tibet in the west. Dzongkha is the national language of Bhutan, which means the language of the fort. Rich with culture, ethnicity, and tradition, Bhutan is a Buddhist nation. Not only is the culture rich, but it is also rich in flora and fauna. Surrounded by the Himalayan Shangri-la, many travelers come to Bhutan each year for trekking, adventure, spiritual tours, and calm vistas.

Thimphu is the capital city, although we fly into the main airport at Paro, 1.5 hours’ drive away from the capital.
