Rental agency might ask a passport as a deposit don’t worry handover it to them cause they are established and have authorized agency. They won’t run away however don’t forget to collect it back. Explore a couple of caves in Pokhara along with Davis Falls and Mountaineering Museum. Apart from the valley, you can follow some uphill road that can shift you to the ridgeline for a perfect sunset view. Drive to peace pagoda and enjoy the sunset from the top. You can see a long range of the Himalayas and Fewa Lake right beneath you.

Boating on Lake

It’s not supposed to be an old-fashioned rowing boat; instead, you can rent some fancy modern paddleboat or even sailboat. Paddleboat and more safe and comfortable, you can just throw a party in the middle of the lake. Don’t forget to bring some chips and a cold beer with you. You can pay a short visit to the isolated temple in the middle of the lake. Enjoy the view of Annapurna and Fishtail along with gliders above you who are about to land on the runway of Pame and Khare.

Mountain Biking

Go green!
Burn fat not fuel, just rent a bicycle and wander around the city. Being a valley it will not be that much difficult to paddle a cycle. However, going all the up to Sarangkot or Stupa might be quite hard. You can go to the Tibetan Refugee Settlement that is around 10 km north of Pokhara and composed of a mild up and downhill trail. Apart from that you can drive to Pame and enjoy local food, especially fresh lake fish on your best at a reasonable price.

Paragliding

This is another adventure that you can go to in Pokhara. With the help of air and glider, you can fly like a bird all the way to Pokhara Valley from Sarangkot Ridge. You can go for either 30 min or 1 hour’s flight. On clear weather flight offer, unmatched view of Annapurna Range along with an aerial view of Fewa Lake at it’s best. There are no such criteria that one needs to meet.  It’s an easy adventure sport that one can go for with the help of certified pilots.

Bungee Jump and Zip Flyer

They are the extreme adventure full of thrill and rush. You can challenge yourself with these two extreme sports. Zip flyer in Pokhara from Sarangkot to Hemja is one of the longest and vertical downhill rope ever used in the world. On the backdrop, you can enjoy Annapurna and Machhapuchhre at your best. Apart from that through the help of a vertical leaning artificial tower, you can challenge yourself with a bungee jump. Somewhere around the ending point of Zip Flyer, you can go for this adventure. Apart from that if you are looking for other bungee jumps then The Last Resort can be an ideal destination for both Bungee Jump and Canyon Swing in Nepal.

Rajendra Khanal (Raj)

Born and raised in Gorkha, Nepal, I am proud to call the Manaslu region my home! I have been in the travel business for over a decade from being assistance guide, leader, to being a manager. And finally today I am the founder of NEST Adventure. So you could say I know my way well enough in the Himalayas, especially in some of the off-the-beaten-trails in Nepal like Manaslu, Kanchenjunga and Mustang!

I am passionate about travelling and I strongly believe that seeing the world shouldn't break the bank (at least not too much!). I have backpacked to over 15 countries in Asia, Central America, USA, Canada, one-third of Europe, the Caribbean Islands, and Latin America.

I studied in the UK and moved to the United States. During that period, I had the opportunity of working with multinational companies which taught me how to deliver quality customer service in the business. As a world travelling backpacker myself, and travel expert for the Nepalese Himalayas, I started writing about my own country. Which I would love to share with you. In case you required free information about Nepal or join a group with our existing departure, (particularly If you are a solo hiker for the restricted area) please do not hesitate to visit my office in Thamel. We are located in the centre of Kathmandu called Thamel. I am happy to share a cup of Nepali tea and free information.

Our team at NEST has earned 5/5 star ratings on TripAdvisor. Don't forget to visit our customer feedback page on TripAdvisor. If you believe our expert team can be helpful in planning your next trip to Nepal, then please do not hesitate to contact me at nestadventure@gmail.com.
